5 Poems of Mine About Flowers and Unity
Poem 1
the land of flowers
land of ours is a garden fair
just beyond your doorstep’s care
enveloped by a wooden fence
beside the window, a rustic sense
we bloom with each morning rise
sunlight adorns us through the window’s glass
even when the raindrops gentle fall
our smile just the same, standing fall
there are many of us here
I am a red rose
I am a white jasmine
I am a yellow allamanda
I am a purple hibiscus
together we dwell in this land
under the sun we all stand
rooted in the same earth so fine
no need hates when love define
Eden’s beauty wouldn’t be
with only one color to see
everlasting without living
he was willing to wait an angel
while his gravestone greater than ever
his morning eyes harmonize the graveyard
where the flowers of mourners wilted for the
last
then, a longed-for voice whisper somberly,
“you name is everlasting without living!”
a little wonder,
in this cemetery
there is not such a thing called happiness
his cry become a fall
and winter wind wipes out the leaves on the
trees
Just like my mother love
Fireflies
Glimmer in the heart of the night
Their glow alights upon my face
A tender kiss upon my brow
Perched on a mahogany trees
Flit and float
here and there
give the night a vivid dream
