creative fix/pexels
In my official journey, I went astray. I completely had been
having no idea where I was. That is the most outlandish place I had ever seen. Precisely I was on a green mountain slope covered thin gray fog, as if showing that the mountain was raining every day. When the drops of rain had
started to fall, I looked up.
"Uh, Exactly, it was raining right now. I am better to find a shelter!
" I thought by myself.
Fortunately, I can find a shelter on the mountain slope. There was a small hut owned by a poor farmer. He was
very old, have a couple small reddish eyes, big nose, and gray hairs, and he seems friendly too,
as well as good people usually. Because of the way he looked, I
can notice how poor he was rapidly.
"Could I stay here for a while?" I asked him. I hope he doesn't mind. And he didn't fortunately.
"Oh
, of course." He replied.
"But If you don't mind, who are you? I mean, where do you come from? What are you doing here?
" He asked a lot. I realized that the farmer had never known the fact
that I was a mayor.
"I am a mayor!" I told him.
Of course he surprised about that. But actually, I more surprised when realize he had never known who I was. Everyone known me anyway.
When he stops a minute after surprised about a mayor faces him at his hut, he takes a matting. I
tend to think
that matting is the best floor mat he ever had. The matting was not
pretty good, I guess. It is kind of brown and cream colours, not
very neatly made, a little coffee powder attached to the matting. And it is from leaves. completely need a lot of leaves to make the matting and completely hand made. I am
pretty sure about it.
"You
are very kind," I told him then.
"Thanks." He replied. "
Certainly, you have
very big responsible, sir." He said with a smile face. I was seeing him made a cup of tea.
I smiled briefly. If only he knew that the lightest job is ordering the others, and most pleasure thing in the world is privileged others.
"Yeah, more or less," I said. "I
have to serve my people! But, it's an honor for me,"
"Exactly! I know you were doing this sincerely!
" He said with a hoarse tone.
When the rain stopped, I
decide to go and continue my journey. I was very thankful for him
due to his kindness. After that meeting, we never see each other anymore.
But, many years later, when
i was badly sick and then died, he comes
to me. I suppose that the old man died too as me.
His face never changes, full of kindness and polite. He had been smiling
to me and said, "If only
i used to know that the toughest responsibilities is to fulfil the rights of others."
