Poem 1 the land of flowers   land of ours is a garden fair just beyond your doorstep’s care enveloped by a wooden fence beside the window, a rustic sense   we bloom with each morning rise sunlight adorns us through the window’s glass even when the raindrops gentle fall our smile just the same, standing fall   there are many of us here I am a red rose I am a white jasmine I am a yellow allamanda I am a purple hibiscus   together we dwell in this land under the sun we all stand rooted in the same earth so fine no need hates when love define   Eden’s beauty wouldn’t be with only one color to see everlasting without living he was willing to wait an angel while his gravestone greater than ever his morning eyes harmonize the graveyard where the flowers of mourners wilted for the last   then, a longed-for voice whisper somberly, “you name is everlasting without living!”   a little wonder, in this cemetery there is not such

Jalaludin Rumis' Poems in English that Show Love and Erotic

Gambar
The following is Jalaludin Rumi's poem in English. These collected poems show Rumi's deep love for his teacher, Shamseddin. Although love in Rumi's view is not necessarily related to something erotic, when reading the three poems below, it is difficult to imagine it in another way.       Picture of Rumi The Greatness of Absence   Since seeing his face, I can’t look at other people. Once glance from him and I become drunk.   I’ve turned my body into wax to receive the seal of Solomon. In order to soften the wax, I rub and knead it with my hands.   I threw away my false measures after seeing him. I became his flute and started crying when his lips touched me.   I was blindly searching for his hand while all the while he was holding mine. I was asking about him from people who knew nothing about him.   I was so naive. My heart was empty. I behave like a drunken idiot, stealing my own gold with my own hands.   Like a thief I

What Does She Think About me?

Gambar
Oleh: @jailaniansera Pawel L/ pexels I wonder about this, in your mind, what do you think about two women sat on the corner of an oplet saying nothing? I had thought so too, never going to happen, just silence like a rain on the morning without patter tones. That was my feeling about the situation. It is a kind of boring, so I decide to  put my earphone on my ears and listen some fucking popular songs. That is Lady Gaga anyway. With a woman next to me and still silence on the road, I made a glance and tried to smile at her. I feel it's like a terrible smiling, but whatever. She nods and splutters at same time. Do you know what the woman thought about me? In this fucking situation, I suppose the woman thought that  I am spoiled, haughty, antisocial, and so on. It is very  clear if you saw her goddamn face. She had a terrible face with a big nose and wide lips. And she wore a terrible dress with yellow flowers so make the dress sort of  tacky. But she old w

A Mayor and Farmer

By: @jailaniansera creative fix/ pexels In my official journey, I went astray. I completely had been having no idea where I was. That is the most outlandish place I had ever seen. Precisely I was on a green mountain slope covered thin gray fog, as if showing that the mountain was raining every day. When the drops of rain had started to fall , I looked up. "Uh, Exactly, it was raining right now. I am better to find a shelter! " I thought by myself. Fortunately, I can find a shelter on the mountain slope. There was a small hut owned by a poor farmer. He was  very old , have a couple small reddish eyes, big nose, and gray hairs, and he seems friendly too,  as well as good people usually. Because of the way he looked, I  can notice how poor he was rapidly. "Could I stay here for a while?" I asked him. I hope he doesn't mind. And he didn't fortunately. "Oh , of course ." He replied. "But If you don't mind, who are you? I
